MJW Selected by Aerospace Company to Fabricate Piping System for Testing Facility

In winter of 2023, MJW was selected by a major aerospace company to fabricate and install piping systems required for their new spacecraft testing facility.

Immediately following the selection, the MJW facility in Titusville, Florida began shop fabrication of the 20” LH₂ Vent, 16” ECS, 3” high pressure Helium and 3” high pressure Nitrogen piping systems, all of which included over 5,000 inches of weld.

MJW generated shop fabrication drawings for all pipe spools from a 3D design model provided by the Client, and selected field weld locations to maximize shop fabrication and minimize field installation time. MJW has been completing high quality cryogenic piping welding at the Space Coast for years, and have substantially increased the capabilities since opening the facility in Titusville in August of 2022.
