MJW to Design and Install Fire Protection and Fire Alarm Systems at Domtar Paper

MJW has been contracted by Domtar Paper to design, build and commission fire protection and fire alarm systems for a new addition to their Jesup, Georgia manufacturing facility. The scope of work includes a new above-ground fire water storage tank, new large capacity fire pump and fire pump building, multiple automatic wet and dry sprinkler systems, all required fire extinguishers, and a plantwide addressable fire alarm system.

Domtar makes products that people around the world rely on everyday, such a wide variety of specialty and packaging papers, market pulp and airlaid non-wovens. This is the first opportunity for MJW to contract directly with Domtar on a project of this size and complexity, and we look forward to building a positive ongoing relationship into the future.
